# 🧰 Troubleshooting

## The resource does not start

Confirm the resource order:

```cfg
ensure xsound
ensure kc_carplay
```

Confirm the xSound resource folder is named `xsound`.

## The Vehicle Music System opens but music does not play

Test with a normal public YouTube URL.

Then verify xSound starts without errors.

## A direct audio link does not play

Not every web page URL is a direct audio stream. Test the source in a browser and confirm the source is accessible and compatible with Chromium.

## Spotify link is rejected

This is expected behavior. Spotify page URLs are not supported.

## Page Up or Page Down does nothing

This is expected when the player has no valid authorized vehicle music session.

For outside volume control, the driver must remain within the configured distance of the driver's linked vehicle music session.

## Passenger controls are locked

The driver must enable **Passengers ON** for the active vehicle session.
